Greetings from Lego land

Not too much going on. Here we are in March and the weather is very lion-esque. So we're indoors a lot: stoking the fire, eating too much and living in the midst of toy land:

Legos, anyone?

I LOVE the velvet fabric idea for the couch...I have a friend who owns a similar style antique-looking couch where her dad reupholstered it using black velvet...it looks amazing!
Sounds like you guys are hanging in there amongst the cold winds and snow...just keep downing the hot cups of tea...should get you through.
Love yuh...Ari (and Tin Tin, too)

Ooh some progress on the couch...that's good.
Glad to see others enjoy their time in toyland just as we do....I'll play!

Yes, I know two little boys who will be happy to pop over for some Lego time. And if you've still got snow, all the better!

that looks like my lounge room.
we put all the lego in the boys room and it never got used, so we've moved it back down again and they play with it all the time. i don't think they like being isolated.
love the velvet idea - can't wait to see it finished.

Sabrina...we have the same USA map.
Thank you for your recent comments on Avellana's project and mine.
I love readng about your projects. Velvet will be gorgeous, but as a caution it does not seem to wear particularly well. The couch we got (after the sponge thing you remember) was upholstered in a velvety material. The seat now resembles the velvateen rabbit. Unfortunatly I do not have a whit of skill at reupholstering, so it will have to remain looking well-loved. I suppose I could knit a cover for it. :)
